In collaboration with a VFX artist and a MInnov Broadcast Future student, I looked into new ways of experiencing museum visits (in particular, an exhibition on origami at the British Museum).
A co-creation meetup with British Origami Society members and user workshops with museum visitors helped us create our service proposal:
Information on walls and plinths give way to loanable iPads and visitors’ smart devices. These run an App giving the visitors flexible, responsive guidance. Enabled by laser projectors and so-called indoor location determination technologies, the visitor can call up a path projected from his/her current position to the next object.
